Discover Cologne after the fair

From 20 to 23 February 2018, the roofing and carpentry industry from all over Europe will meet at the DACH+HOLZ International trade fair in Cologne. Around 550 exhibitors will show their new products and range of products and services at the exhibition grounds of the cathedral city. Because there is still a lot to discover after an exciting day at the trade fair, we will introduce you to some of the most interesting places in the city.




Journalists can accredit on site from 08:30 a.m. at the press counter at entrance east upon presentation of (access to the halls from 09:00 a.m.):

  • your valid press card and
  • the imprint (editorial staff) or
  • a recent article showing your name

Please note our accreditation guidelines. Press tickets do not include free use of public transportation.

For pre-accreditation please send an e-mail to You'll receive it in time by e-mail. Please notice that the mailing of the pre-accreditation starts about four weeks before the trade fair starts and ends a week before the beginning of the trade fair.

Press Centre

The press centre north is located in the north entrance (near hall 8), 1st floor, Deutz-Mülheimer-Strasse 111, 50679 Cologne. It is the meeting point for all journalists during the fair.

To support your work, the press centre offers following services:

  • most up-to-date press releases
  • appointments for the press
  • product news of the exhibitors
  • free of charge guide
  • cloakroom and lockers
  • WIFI internet access
  • coordination of interview requests

Opening times: 08:30 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.

Press parking

Free press parking is available on the P 20 A parking area close to the northern entrance. Your valid press card entitles you to use it. Please follow the traffic guidance system at the exhibition site Cologne.

Security concept

DACH+HOLZ International has implemented a variety of measures to ensure secutity on the fair grounds. There are random bag searches at all entrances.

Furthermore, the supervisory measures at the vehicle accesses have been intensified. In future too, the increased security precautions will be maintained and adapted to the respective Situation.
