High level of prefabrication

It's no secret that you basically have to estimate twice as much for an hour of assembly on the construction site as for an hour of production in the factory. So if we manage to reduce the hours on site (including travel, set-up, expenses, etc.) and increase prefabrication in the factory, you can quickly calculate the potential savings that are possible.

The company Hector Egger Holzbau AG from Langenthal recognized this potential and pre-installed the ceiling elements of a residential complex with 80 residential units completely with Fixpod. During the execution process, it quickly became apparent what great advantages this would bring.

The complete prefabrication of the ceiling elements (installations, insulation, planking including construction sealing) resulted in the following advantages:

Meets the high quality standards in timber construction

Who is not familiar with the various teaching pipe outlets in the ceiling and wall areas but also in the blind boxes and in the outside area? In reality, the previous outlets are usually not visible visually or structurally.
