Bite, drive and hold for project success
fischer screws combine professional performance with simple handling, significant time savings and an excellent price-performance ratio. Perfect for anyone looking to complete projects quickly and cleanly.
Thanks to their well-engineered tip and special screw geometry, fischer screws are particularly easy to position and drive in – without pre-drilling. They prevent splitting, even near edges, and ensure a clean, visually appealing surface. Optimized drive sizes reduce the need for bit changes: a single bit covers screw diameters from 3.5 to 5 mm, increasing installation efficiency. The screw design impresses with precision from tip to head.
Screws for everything
Approved fischer screws are suitable for a wide range of applications and materials. All types of timber-to-timber and timber-to-metal connections are possible. fischer offers approved combinations of PowerFast II chipboard screws and plastic anchors such as DuoPower. With just one screw, DIY users and professionals can complete numerous projects without lengthy product searches or extensive stockholding. At the same time, this simplifies on-site installation.
Whether for furniture, carpentry work, repairs or larger projects in and around the home and garden – fischer screws are the right solution. Professionals will find the appropriate version for demanding applications, such as fastening timber elements including beams, boards or panels. The strong, fast and durable connections can be relied upon.
The wide product range includes various structural timber, specialty, drywall and stainless-steel screws, each available with suitable head types (countersunk head, stepcountersunk head, disc head, panhead, hexagon head with integrated washer, cylinder head, trumpet head), drives (TX internal star as well as PZ and PH cross-recess) and materials (stainless steel, electro-galvanized steel or phosphated steel).
The fischer PowerFast II stepcountersunk head screw may be driven flush with the surface of the timber component in compliance with its approval, like a standard countersunk screw, while achieving nearly the same head pull-through resistance as disc head screws. The result: high performance, greater flexibility and fewer variants in stock – as one screw covers multiple applications.
fischer draws on decades of experience in fastening solutions, DIY and professional trades, with in-house development and production in Germany. Customers also benefit from excellent value for money: fischer packs contain up to 20% more screws than comparably priced alternatives. Various pack sizes from Small to XLarge provide the right quantity for different DIY and professional projects. In total, 597 items are available in 14 different packaging formats for hanging and standing display, plus five additional special packs.
Easy screw selection
The optimized colour guidance system, consistently applied on packaging and at the point of sale, makes in-store orientation even easier for professionals and end users. The packaging design conveys all key information about the screw, its applications and suitable base materials at a glance. Clear blue and grey labels indicate the screw type, illustrate typical applications and substrates, visually highlight the application area with icons, colour-code the drive type and prominently display the screw dimensions.
