How is a PV system planned?
Before purchasing a PV system, the question of the right size arises. The first step is to answer a few basic questions. It's good to be able to count on the support of professionals.
The following questions must be clarified in advance:
- What will the PV system be used for (own consumption vs. feeding into the grid)?
- What is the personal electricity requirement per year?
- Where is the PV system located (north or south)?
- How is the PV system orientated (position and orientation of the roof)?
- What surface area is available and how should the solar modules be laid out (lengthwise or crosswise)?
Various online tools are available to support correct planning. As a company with many years of experience in the solar industry, Retesol offers its customers a suitable tool for planning with the Solar.Pro.Tool.
