Leister, the leading supplier of plastic welding equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of the VARIMAT 700. Developed for the precise welding of plastic liners on flat roofs, the VARIMAT 700 combines efficiency, reliability and flexibility in one device.
The VARIMAT 700 is characterized by its robust construction and ergonomic design. The automatic
roof welding machine comes in a sturdy rolling transport case, ensuring convenient and safe
transportation to the place of use. With a dead weight of 37 kg and optional additional weights, the
VARIMAT 700 offers high joining pressure for constant process safety when welding thermoplastic
sealing sheets and all types of membranes.
A balanced triangular design takes care of directional stability, while the flexible transport axis
facilitates welding close to the edge. The choice of 230 V or 400 V offers users additional flexibility.
Roland Beeler, Head of Business Line Roofing at Leister, explains: “The VARIMAT 700 is a milestone
in the development of welding devices for roofers. With its unique combination of performance,
user-friendliness and digital connectivity, we are setting new standards in the industry.”
In addition to use on roofs, the VARIMAT 700 can also be used for swimming pool construction as
well as welding truck tarpaulins and advertising banners. This versatility underlines Leister’s
innovative strength.
Equipped with the proven Leister Quality System LQS-Roofing, the VARIMAT 700 enables the
creation of digital quality documentation for the completed welds. This documentation can then be
saved and shared with the connected myLeister app.
