The NICER X in-roof system impressively demonstrates that aesthetics and cost-efficiency are not mutually exclusive. Thanks to its snap-lock mechanism, NICER X is considered one of the fastest in-roof systems to install in the world.
The system impresses with its extremely short installation time of around 20 m² per person per hour and its flush ‘full black’ appearance. An outstanding example of its application is the Frutigen Resort (Switzerland). The building makes use of the elegant integration of NICER X to achieve full surface utilisation despite two different roof angles. Our NICER X system is watertight from a roof pitch of just 3°. Even technical challenges such as chimneys, skylights and snow guards have been elegantly and invisibly solved with precisely fitting aluminium composite panels in the system grid.
The NICER X system completely replaces conventional roofing and is mounted directly onto the roof battens. With hail-resistant glass-glass modules and bifacial technology, the system achieves maximum values even in diffuse lighting conditions.
