No Roofing Work Required on the Roof Waterproofing: Kingspan ESSMANN FlexFix Extension System
Fast and easy: flat roof windows and skylights – including common third-party products – can be efficiently refurbished in just a few steps using the FlexFix extension system.
FlexFix – the joker for fast refurbishment
Thanks to the all-round weather protection edge, no on-site waterproofing is required. At the same time, the weather protection edge reliably protects the waterproofing edge from weather influences and damage – completely without additional on-site finishing work. Installation is carried out directly on the cleaned existing curb: install, screw down, mount, done.
Yannick Menkhoff, master roofer, sums up the benefits:
“FlexFix saved us a lot of time during refurbishment. The new skylight was installed in just four steps and 45 minutes.”
Master roofer Sonja Theisen adds:
“The pre-assembled system takes many work steps off our hands. We no longer need on-site waterproofing – that’s what makes FlexFix particularly efficient.”
Installed quickly in just four steps:
-
Step 1: The outdated or damaged skylight is removed.
-
Step 2: The mounting frame is aligned on the existing curb and screwed in place using the pre-defined drill holes.
-
Step 3: The extension element is then installed.
-
Step 4: Finally, the skylight dome is aligned and secured on the system frame.
