ALUJET Master

ALUJET Master is a 4-layer, diffusion-open underlay and roof membrane made from a polypropylene fleece and film composite of UV-stabilised special polyolefin.

Area of application
ALUJET Master is a highly tear-resistant, diffusion-open underlay and roof membrane developed for universal use on pitched roofs with and without formwork. The highest level of quality is guaranteed by, among other things, the material guarantee provided by the ZVDH (German Roofing Contractors' Association), which ensures compliance with the latest ZVDH guidelines. In addition to its use on pitched roofs with and without formwork, ALUJET Master can also be used in closed and rear-ventilated façade constructions, as a separating layer under metal roofing (except titanium zinc) and under slate, shingle and fibre cement roofing. Provided that ALUJET Master is installed professionally using specially coordinated and tested ALUJET system components, its properties as a temporary roofing material are guaranteed. In order to achieve the function and specifications for a rainproof sub-roof, ALUJET system components for overlap bonding, nail sealing and tested products for connection to existing components must be used.

Functionality
Thanks to its special material composition, ALUJET Master is ideally suited for use as a rainproof sub-roof. The integrated HDPE fabric protects the functional membrane, increases tear resistance to 1,000 N/50 mm and also significantly improves dimensional stability. This means that a weight of 3,000 kg could be attached to the 1,500 mm wide ALUJET Master without the membrane tearing. This extremely high tear resistance not only meets the requirements of DIN 4426 and the fall-through protection requirements of BG-Bau, but significantly exceeds them. The high quality of ALUJET Master is further confirmed by its permanent temperature resistance from -40° to 100°C. A modified adhesive system provides greater flexibility, allowing ALUJET Master to be processed at temperatures as low as -5°C.
