Magnus - the practical hook connector´

Safe and reliable connector techniques are of great important in modern wood construction. The fastening elements not only have to guarantee the structural integrity of the structures, but also make assembly as easy as possible. In this context, the ETA-certified Magnus suspension connector from Eurotec provides an optimum solution for organising construction processes efficiently and safely.

The Magnus hook connector offers a range of possibilities for wood construction. It is an innovative tool, especially for creating highly loaded joints in wood engineering, so that connections between main and secondary beams can be joined together powerfully and securely using the wood connector. The Magnus is used, e.g., in the construction of carports or terrace roofs because it enables beams to be connected with one another invisibly. The Magnus suspension connector comprises two separate parts, whereby one is designed for the main beam and the other for the secondary beam. The connector is assembled on the wood components using appropriate wood construction screws. By fixing the wooden components, they are firmly braced against each other so that they cannot be easily released. The connections can withstand high static loads in five directions. The connector is available in the four sizes XS - L depending on the specific area of application.

EiSYS - the adjustable façade screw for substructures

EiSYS façade/adjustment screws are used to attach curtain walling to the load-bearing structure using a substructure. EiSYS-HOLZ and EiSYS-2 can be used for fastening wooden substructures. EiSYS aluminium, on the other hand, is used for aluminium substructures. The screws are screwed into the substructure. The freely rotating threaded sleeve on the head then enables precise distance adjustment between the counter batten and the insulation material so that the substructure can be aligned parallel to the building wall.
