Aluminum-laminated structural protection mat with flame-retardant treatment
KRAITEC® top alu FiRe is a specially treated structural protection mat for protection against mechanical damage, e.g. on high-quality PVC waterproofing in accordance with DIN 18531, 18533, 18535 and the flat roof directive. KRAITEC® top alu FiRe has a flame-retardant finish, which contributes to a considerable reduction in the fire load on flat roofs.
KRAITEC® top alu FiRe is flame-retardant and is used, among other things, as a protective underlay for photovoltaic systems as a layer separation. KRAITEC® top alu FiRe is a Broof (t1) classified building protection mat, which is considered a hard roofing that is resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat. KRAITEC® top alu FiRe has an aluminium triplex foil lamination on the underside which can act as an integrated separating layer (plasticiser barrier) in the event of incompatibility with PVC roof waterproofing membranes, in consultation with the roofing membrane manufacturer.
