VAEPLAN solar roofing membranes
VAEPLAN solar roofing membranes were specially developed for use under PV systems and offer increased fire protection, thereby ensuring safety in the event of a fire.
We conducted a fire test on our premises. In the test, we simulated an existing flat roof with old plastic waterproofing and EPS. We regenerated the old plastic waterproofing membrane with VAEPLAN RSB-FR solar roof membrane and exposed it to a gas burner from above for a full three minutes. The picture shows the underside of the old waterproofing membrane, which displayed no damage after three minutes of full exposure to the flame. Of course, we also have an official fire certificate from a recognized and approved testing laboratory. Our regeneration layers can be applied to all existing waterproofing membranes.
