Galaxy Lightweight is GoodWe PVBM’s ultralight PV module designed for roofs with limited load capacity – ideal for industrial halls, lightweight roofs, and renovation projects. With a weight of only 5.6 kg/m² per module, it enables safe installation even where conventional modules cannot be used.
Installers benefit from fast, non-penetrative installation (3–4 minutes per module) and a flexible, removable system – perfect for roofs without supporting substructures or for planned roof renovations.
At the Zehnder Group site in Switzerland, 12,000 Galaxy modules were successfully installed on lightweight roofs – a reference project demonstrating how simple and reliable lightweight PV can be today.
