Cedral cidings for structured façade designs
As an alternative to Cedral slates, Cedral cidings offer an equally aesthetic and flexible design element for façades. They are also installed in combination with a ventilated façade system (VHF). With their slimmer geometry and linear structure, they are particularly suitable for modern façade designs – for existing buildings as well as parts or entire façades in new construction. They are available in a wide range of modern colors, allowing homeowners and architects to create individual and impressive houses. Cidings come in two versions: Cedral Lap and Cedral Click.

The full-edge Cedral Lap cidings create a clear surface with structured lines – whether as full cladding or as an accent element. Cidings can be used for new-build and renovation projects as overlapping cladding, vertical installation, open joint, or board-and-batten cladding. Board-and-batten and overlapping cladding are proven techniques, mainly used in classic façade design. Both installation methods give the façade a traditional and timeless charm while ensuring functionality and protection against weather influences.

Cedral Click cidings with tongue-and-groove connection create a modern, flush-fitting façade. Cidings can be installed horizontally or vertically. The tongue-and-groove connection offers numerous advantages, making it an ideal solution for façade cladding. It enables easy and quick installation, as the cidings fit precisely into each other to form an even surface. The exact alignment minimizes visible joints, which not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also provides reliable protection against moisture and weather influences.
Energy-efficient façade renovation with Cedral cidings
Cedral cidings offer roofers a valuable renovation alternative for buildings with an existing external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). Thanks to thermal bridge-free façade anchors and special adapters, cidings can be mounted easily and securely directly onto the existing ETICS. This saves costly demolition work, reduces time, and minimizes costs – a major advantage for craftsmen and builders alike.
