DAMTEC® sonic FiRe with Broof(t1) and Cfl-s1 fire classification

DAMTEC® sonic as well as DAMTEC® sonic drain plus (with fleece lamination and 3D profiling) have been successfully used for many years as protection and impact sound insulation mats on roof terraces, balconies, loggias and access balconies. They are typically installed in systems with concrete paving slabs laid on gravel or in timber substructures. With fire classification Efl-B2, these products already provide a solid level of fire protection.

However, certain applications require an even higher fire classification. We meet this requirement with the development of DAMTEC® sonic FiRe. The product is classified according to Broof(t1) and achieves fire classification Cfl-s1.

All impact sound insulation values tested and stated in our brochure for DAMTEC® sonic also apply to the new DAMTEC® sonic FiRe.
