SWISS KRONO TEX GmbH & Co. KG

For years, our premium MAGNUMBOARD® OSB has impressed with its special feature that adds real value to modern timber construction: the elements can be coated directly, eliminating the need for additional plasterboard layers.

Our compact MAGNUMBOARD® OSB Evolution format is now approved for direct coating in collaboration with two leading brands: Knauf Rotkalk and Caparol.

They are ideal for use in extensions, garages and partition walls. Measuring 2,470 x 2,770 mm with wall thicknesses of 75 or 100 mm, they feature tongue and groove, external tongue and mounting thresholds for quick and easy installation.

This solid wood construction element impresses with its fast, dry construction method and directly coatable surfaces. Simply apply a lignin barrier and fill the few joints to create a surface that can be coated directly with Caparol glass fibre or Knauf Rotkalk plaster. This completely eliminates the need for traditional interior cladding, such as plasterboard.

Your advantages at a glance:

  • No prior planking with gypsum boards is necessary
  • Efficient in terms of costs, labour and time
  • Flexible design: interior plaster, paint, wallpaper or tiles possible
  • Slim wall structures
