Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions and all important information about DACH+HOLZ International 2026! 

The quickest way to reach the trade fair is by public transportation. 

 

Take subway lines 1 and 9 to the "Bahnhof Deutz" stop and subway lines 3 and 4 to the "Koelnmesse" stop. At Cologne Central Station, S-Bahn lines S 6, S 11, S 12 and S 13 run at short intervals from platform 10 in the direction of Köln Messe/Deutz station.

You will find plenty of parking spaces directly at the trade fair center. 

 

Ten highways lead to the highway ring around Cologne. This will take you directly to the exhibition grounds without any intersections or traffic lights. Follow the green signs for "Koelnmesse". Our traffic guidance system will lead you to the approx. 14,500 parking spaces in the exhibition area. The parking lots are optimally connected to our entrances. You can reach the exhibition halls on foot or by using the free shuttle buses.

DACH+HOLZ International brings together all the expertise in one place, where industry professionals meet and network, and where you can find out about the latest trends. You can find all the exhibitors who took part in 2024 in the overview.

DACH+HOLZ International will take place from 24 - 27.02.2026 from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Cologne Exhibition Center. 

Visitors and exhibitors have the opportunity to leave luggage and items of clothing for storage at the checkrooms in the entrance areas. 

 

This service is charged at 3.00 euros per item of luggage or clothing, or 5.00 euros per item of luggage and clothing. 

The exhibition grounds and the individual halls are barrier-free. 

 

The staff at Messewache Nord at the North Entrance and Messewache Ost at the East Entrance will be happy to help you.

You can withdraw cash from the following nearby EC machines: 

  • East Entrance 

  • North entrance 

In case of malfunctions, please contact the malfunction center +49 221/226-5253. 

Free WiFi is available in the north entrance area and in the workspaces at DACH+HOLZ International: 

•    Workspace Future (Hall 6)  

•    Workspace Retention Roof (Hall 8) 

•    Workspace Plumbing Trade (Hall 8) 

 

Free WiFi is not available in the exhibition halls. 

There are two lost and found offices on the exhibition grounds:

If you suspect that you have been robbed, you have the option of contacting the investigation service.

The Koelnmesse security office has two locations. You can reach them at the following telephone numbers: 

  • Messewache North: +49 221 821 2551/-2552 

  • Trade fair security east: +49 221 821 2549/-2550 

Yes, the following locations are available: 

  • North Entrance (Messewache): 5 electric charging stations 

  • Zoobrücke car park: 70 electric charging stations 

 

As with public charging stations, billing is carried out using your own charging card from any provider. 

 

Please note: If the vehicle is not unplugged after charging is complete, a blocking fee of 5 pence per minute will be charged. Visitors should therefore finish charging in good time to avoid additional costs. 

No. Motorhomes are not permitted to enter the exhibition grounds, nor are they allowed to stay overnight on the grounds. 

 

Motorhomes can be parked during the day at car park P21 (outside the exhibition grounds) for a fee. The car park is not guarded and must be vacated overnight. 

 

There are several official campsites and parking spaces available in Cologne for overnight stays. 

No. Animals are not permitted on the exhibition grounds. 

An exception is made for guide dogs and assistance dogs with appropriate documentation. 

Yes. For security reasons, bags and other items brought onto the premises may be checked when entering or leaving the exhibition grounds. By entering the premises, you agree to these checks. 

Yes. Among other things, the following are not permitted: 

  • Weapons and weapon-like items 

  • Knives, striking tools or other dangerous items 

  • Fireworks, pyrotechnics and flammable substances 

  • Drugs and illegal substances 

  • Glass bottles and other breakable containers 

These items may not be brought onto the exhibition grounds. 

Small snacks and drinks are usually allowed. However, glass bottles or large quantities may be refused. Please observe the safety regulations on site. 

Photos and videos for private use are generally permitted. 

Prior permission is required for commercial recordings or publications. 

No. Bicycles, e-scooters, skateboards, inline skates, Segways and similar means of transport may not be used anywhere on the exhibition grounds. 

If you break the rules, you might get asked to leave. In serious cases, you might get banned from the venue or the police might get involved.
