IRoofA

The founding of the International Roofing Alliance, IRoofA for short, pursues various objectives: On the one hand, the aim is to generally promote solutions for environmentally relevant tasks. For example, IRoofA has set itself the joint task of continuously improving the sustainability and quality of roofs and building envelopes worldwide. The focus here is on people's well-being and health.

The work also focuses on securing young talent and skilled workers, as well as occupational health and safety. The challenges are very similar all over the world. The three partners support each other by exchanging experiences and working on joint projects, enabling them to find the right solutions quickly and effectively. Another very special project is already being implemented: the creation of an international dictionary of technical terms for the roofing industry.

The special feature: the members of IRoofA have been working closely together for many years. In regular meetings - 3 to 4 times a year - the partners exchange ideas and implement the solutions in their area of activity. All three partners publish their own technical regulations and are jointly responsible for a leading roofing trade fair:

1. Germany: DACH+HOLZ International (alternating between Cologne and Stuttgart)
2. China: China International Roofing & Waterproofing Expo (alternating between Shanghai and Beijing)
3. USA: International Roofing Expo (alternating locations in North America)
