Since its beginnings in 1992, Wirth GmbH has specialized in the development, production and sale of vacuum-based lifting devices for construction site and industrial applications and has had the brand name OKTOPUS(R) trademarked for them.

Today, this is synonymous with

• vacuum lifting devices for the assembly of large-sized roof, wall, ceiling and facade elements
• vacuum lifters and manipulators for the installation of windows, glass elements and both flat and curved glass panes up to 18 m long and 10,000 kg dead weight
• vacuum handling systems for gentle and ergonomic handling and safe , fast and cost-effective transportation in the flat glass manufacturing, processing and finishing industry
• X-Y-lightweight overhead cranes and slewing crane systems for shop-floor applications
• counterweight systems with load capacities between 250 kg and 20,000 kg.

Another focus is the production of edged and lightweight steel profiles for industrial and commercial construction, mechanical engineering and commercial and special vehicle construction.

The product range includes load-bearing transom and purlin profiles up to 4 mm thick as well as high-precision body panels in length up to 12,000 mm for coaches and, of course, customer-specific and special profiles made of galvanized and coated steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

Processing such as punching, stamping, nibbling, notching, welding, laser-cutting and powder coating complete our product range.
