SORIWA GmbH brings the green revolution to drywall construction with steel-free fibre profiles Innovative. Efficient. Sustainable. – With this mission, SORIWA GmbH, a company founded in the Münsterland region, is bringing a breath of fresh air to the drywall construction industry.
Founded in 2023 by Michael Sommer and Andreas Ridder, SORIWA combines over 30 years of industry experience with the aim of rethinking materials and processes in interior design – functional, recyclable and forward-looking.
A new generation of drywall profiles: SORIWA Multi Profiles
With SORIWA Multi Profiles, the company presents a genuine alternative to conventional steel or wooden studs, forming the heart of the SORIWA Multi System: made from recycled multi-layer cellulose fibres, the profiles meet all requirements for stability, workability and approval – and offer many other impressive advantages:
One profile for everything: replaces CW, UW and UA profiles
Approved & tested: with general building authority approval (abZ)
Resource-saving: made from recycled cellulose fibres
CO₂-negative: the choice of material results in a positive environmental balance
Safe to handle: no sharp edges, minimised risk of injury
Easy to process: compatible with standard tools
The profiles are available in three widths (50, 75, 100 mm) and in lengths of 3.00, 3.50 and 4.00 metres – ideal for flexible applications in modern interior design.
SORIWA Multi-System – the new standard for sustainable interior design
The SORIWA Multi System is a completely newly developed mounting system for modern drywall construction. At its heart is the SORIWA Multi Profile – a stable, multi-layer fibre profile made from recycled cellulose fibres. In combination with the SORIWA Connector and the SORIWA Core, this creates a modular, completely steel-free stud frame – which completely replaces classic metal or wooden constructions.
The system consists of three perfectly coordinated components:
SORIWA Multi Profile – replaces CW, UW and UA profiles with just one profile type
SORIWA Connector – extends the Multi Profile to form a load-bearing frame construction, completely without conventional UW profiles
SORIWA Core – turns the Multi Profile into a load-bearing construction unit, e.g. for doors, thus replacing the UA profile
A clear vision: the green wall
SORIWA is pursuing a clear goal: ‘The Green Wall’. An interior wall in which all components are made of sustainable materials – technically sophisticated, practical and recyclable. The Multi System is the first big step. Further components are to be developed in the coming years.
