Live construction of a titanium zinc spaceship
An extraordinary project highlights the sheet metal trade in a unique way: Austrian craftsman Friedrich Reinbold builds a detailed model of the Enterprise spaceship live throughout the trade fair – entirely made of titanium zinc. He demonstrates all key techniques of the trade, from precise cutting and forming with specialised machines to traditional soft soldering. Visitors can follow the entire process and ask questions on site.

Virtual insights & interactive formats
Digital formats add new perspectives to the trade fair experience: At the stand of the youth campaign Dachdecker Dein Beruf, visitors can use VR headsets to explore virtual roof environments – including insights into real working situations. Interactive applications and activity areas present different fields of work in an engaging and accessible way.

Community & action: Craft meets sport
Jumping, flying, landing – all under control: At the “Craft Meets Sport” action area, master roofer and freestyle mountain biker Niels Gehrke demonstrates how much action, precision and courage are part of skilled trades. Daily bike shows highlight that balance, technique and body control on the bike are just as important as they are on the roof. Afterwards, visitors can exchange ideas, ask questions and get autographs.
